MID-MOUNTAIN EQUIPMENT

3000 to 5000 meters over sea level / 9842 to 16 404 ft

  1. Wool Cap or Sun hat
  2. Sunglasses
  3. Buff
  4. Base layer: Removes sweat, prevents humidity and cold. Polyester-Polypropylene-like material
  5. Backpack: 20 to 30 liters / 5 to 8 gallons
  6. Gloves: thermal / synthetic fiber
  7. Outer layer: Waterproof jacket products against moisture, wind and rain. Gore-tex like material.
  8. Trekking poles (optional).
  9. Waterproof or fast dry trousers (no denim)
  10. Trekking boots or shoes
  11. Trekking socks
